Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-11-05
consolet is not released yet. These terms are short because the app is.
- The app is provided as it is, without a warranty of any kind.
- The app will let you act on machines you add, such as waking, restarting or powering them off. You are responsible for the machines you connect to and for what you do on them, and for having the right to do it.
- If you run the relay, it acts on the machines of its home, with its own key, for the phones paired with it. It also
signs in to a PiKVM whose login you send it and can press its ATX. The KVM logins you send are on that machine, so
keeping it and its access safe is yours. Unless you start it with
--no-backend, it links to our server while a pairing is open or a paired phone has named an account, and with Pro a signed-in phone can reach it through our server; the server only passes the encrypted channel, and the privacy policy says what it sees. It can also replace its own program with a newer one signed by the author, if you enable the update timer on Linux, run the update yourself or, on Windows, do not install the service with--no-update; the privacy policy says how that is done and how to turn it off. - The app needs no account. If you sign in, to read the answers to your reports, to have a licence found or to use sync, we keep that address and, with sync, your data sealed in a form we cannot read; the privacy policy says what, and how to have it deleted.
- Sync is part of Pro. If you lose both your passphrase and your recovery code, and every phone that syncs, the synced vault cannot be opened by anyone, us included.
